Telecommunications Managed Services

We have been delivering Telecommunications Managed Service solutions across commercial, local government, semi-state sectors for over 25 years and we were deemed to be an essential services provider during the COVID pandemic. We have been awarded public tender contract awards and have been engaged to deliver telecoms services under semi-state framework agreements and government funded projects for the roll-out of telecommunications services at local and regional level. We also provide a range of bespoke monitoring and communication solutions to the renewable and utility markets to optimize performance and reduce down times for grid monitoring services. We have also developed and provide a real-time grid reporting service for power plant controllers based on a secure telecommunications network platform which is used by utilities and independent power producers.

Solutions for Renewables 

Since 2007 we have been providing a range of software modelling services to assist developers of renewable projects, environmental planners and third-party stakeholders to assess the impacts on telecoms, broadcast and aviation networks. We regularly conduct technical engineering assessments and prepare review statement summary responses of impacts and recommend mitigation measure solutions. We take responsibility for the management of the consultation process with telecommunications operators, statutory consultees, television and radio broadcast service operators as well as aeronautical and aviation service providers. We have a track record of delivering mitigation measure solutions to resolve the impacts of renewable projects on telecommunications networks and provide assurance to our customers that solutions exist to mitigate potential wind farm impacts so that consented developments can co-exist with operational telecommunication operator networks.

Telecommunications Software Modelling  

We provide advanced 3D modeling software solutions that can be used to model the influence of the terrain and structures on telecommunications, broadcast, emergency services and aeronautical networks. We can prepare  heat map visualizations of baseline conditions as well as impacted areas caused by renewable developments. We have developed software tooling to allow the modelling of visualizations for deflections, reflections and shadowing effects caused by wind turbines on telecommunications and aviation networks. We conduct field surveys and drive-through surveys to gather baseline data which is used to calibrate and validate our software models. Our service coverage and interference predictions are based on the industry accepted radio propagation algorithms which allows us to accurately simulate the mechanics of the interference systems from which we recommend remedial solutions. AiBridges have developed software prediction models to assist all interested stakeholders to both understand the issues and also address them. To further assist with data analysis we also provide a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) visualization service using raytracing radio propagation to allow future development of interactive mapping tools.
